The seventh edition of the Louis-Jeantet Symposium took place on Tuesday, 9 October 2018 at the University Medical Center in Geneva from 8:50 to 17:30.
This edition was organised by two Louis-Jeantet prize winners: Matthias Mann, Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry, Munich, and Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, Copenhagen, and Kurt Wüthrich, The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, and ETH Zurich. Together with speakers specialised in the same area, they shared their research on proteomics and structural biology.
Alongside the Louis-Jeantet Symposium a satellite meeting intended for students from a Swiss research institution was organised by Ioannis Xenarios, University of Lausanne in collaboration with LS2 – Life Sciences Switzerland. Kurt Wüthrich, The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, and ETH Zürich and Michal Bassani, CHUV Lausanne addressed the students.
