Cultural activities

Between 2001 and 2006, the Foundation designed and carried out several series of cultural activities on topics in the news with regard to medicine and society.

Through exhibitions, workshops, meetings, shows and conferences, the Geneva and Swiss-French public had the opportunity to inform themselves on subjects as different as the sense of smell, the links between the brain and visual perception, the origin and purpose of anatomy waxworks, the capacity of the body to adapt when exposed to extreme temperatures, or the endless facets of the body in movement.

Open to all, these events took a broader view on medicine and health, notably in light of the arts and social sciences. Often unique programmes thus took place jointly with several local cultural and scientific institutions.
