2019 Louis-Jeantet Symposium

The eighth edition of the Louis-Jeantet Symposium took place on Tuesday, 15 October 2019 at the University Medical Center in Geneva.

This edition was organised by two Louis-Jeantet prize winners: Elena Conti, Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, and Venki Ramakrishnan, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. Together with speakers specialised in the same area, they shared their research on RNA in the balance: between translation and decay.

Alongside the Louis-Jeantet Symposium a satellite meeting intended for students from a Swiss research institution was organised by Witold Filipowicz, FMI, Basel in collaboration with LS2 – Life Sciences SwitzerlandElena Conti, Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, and Venki Ramakrishnan, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge addressed the students.
